(2018) Vice President Visits Savannah for St. Patrick's Day and Takes a Copy of Savannah Square by Square Home as a Souvenir
Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence came to Savannah for the annual St. Patrick's Day parade in March 2018. Among the gifts given to Mr. and Mrs. Pence by the City of Savannah was a copy of Savannah Square by Square. Mayor DeLoach presented the book to the Second Family prior to their participation in the parade. The City has obtained Square by Square as a gift to visiting dignitaries. Vice President Pence said, "Thank you . . . this will go on the coffee table in the Vice Presidential residence!"
